Many immigrants are forced to live in the shadows because they can't afford legal representation.

We Can Help

The North Carolina Immigration Law & Justice Center (ILJC), part of the Immigration Law & Justice Network (ILJN), provides low-income immigrants, refugees and asylum-seekers with affordable, high-quality immigration legal services.

You may have known us a Fayetteville Justice for Our Neighbors, or JFON. We rebranded in March of 2023 along with the national network to better describe what we do.

We also provide information to help the public understand the complicated U.S. immigration system and educate policy makers on how immigration policy impacts our immigrant neighbors.

When a stranger sojourns with you in your land, you shall not do him wrong. The stranger who sojourns with you shall be to you as the native among you, and you shall love him as yourself; for you were strangers in the land of Egypt; I am the Lord your God.  Leviticus 19: 33-34

Volunteer with the ILJN

We need your help! As the network continues to grow, we have a bigger volunteer need. You can help by translating, assisting with office tasks, helping with fundraising events, or providing childcare during a client’s visit. Contact us today!
